ABOUT THE EVENT
The East Coast In Water Boat Show is a free, community-driven event taking place at Shining Waters Marina in Tantallon, Nova Scotia on August 20 and 21, 2026.
From in-water boat displays to indoor dealer booths, live music, and great food and drinks from Saltbox Brewery on the patio — it's a full two-day experience for boaters and non-boaters alike. Everyone is welcome, no membership required.
Presented by Boating Atlantic and Shining Waters Marina, this is a celebration of the boating lifestyle and the community that loves it.

Donations are welcomed in honour of Joel Hodder through the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia.
The Nova Scotia Boatbuilder’s Association will be on location during the boat show to promote the marine trades! Stop by to ask your questions and learn about the opportunities that exist in our province.

Is the event really free?
Yes, completely. Admission is free to the public. We do welcome donations to the Joel Hodder Marine Trades Bursary through the Community Foundation of Nova Scotia — you can donate on site or online.

Do I need to be a boater to attend?
Not at all. Whether you're a seasoned boater or just curious about the lifestyle, everyone is welcome. This is a community event, open to all.
Is food available at the event?
